The company has siginificant experience in implementing projects based on Geographic Information Systems and the development of

similar applications, using new communications technologies:

- As regards cartography,

the company made a large number of maps, both medium-scale (1:10,000 - 1:1.000.000 scale maps)

and high-precision maps (1:1000 - 1:2.000 scale maps).

One can quote : thematic maps for "the cultural committee for the cultural capital of Europe - Thessaloniki 1997",

mapping support for the carrying out of a study on road traffic in Thessaloniki, digital maps for the "Via Egnatia SA" company,

mapping support for the Strategic development plan of the Thessaloniki International Airport-Macedonia.

- GIS in local authorities:

INFODIM can deal with all fields of activity of local authorities (urban planning, engineering, business and economic services,

municipal property, processing site, environmental office...).

Our company can carry out a large number of projects in the GIS. In projects involving local authorities,

we act as a leader in the application of GIS solutions.

- Network management:

We have significant experience in sustainable water and soil management, drainage, gas and electricity networks

and communications. We provide effective solutions to the concerned services (municipalities and wastewater

treatment plants, gas utilities).
 

- Environmental management :

We take part in projects on water management, energy resources and protected areas.

We possess in-depth knowledge of telemetry and simulation models.

An example of mission : "The organization of data for monitoring flood levels and ground water levels in the evaluation of projects to

improve the Thessaly region's infrastructure.

We create digital models for the management of precision agriculture, in cooperation with the American College of Thessaloniki.

- Prevention against natural disasters:

We developed systems based on the use of GIS for operational support using simulation models and fleet management models.

Here in after some examples of projects: protection against forest fires in the Mount Olympus, Voras, Kaimaktsalan

(project completed), in the Menoikio mountain (ongoing project) and Grammos in the Kastoria Prefecture (ongoing project).

- Remote sensing:

Our company develops applications of remote sensing through the process of panchromatic images.

We produce topographical and multi-spectral maps for the production of thematic maps and to support specific projects.

We work in collaboration with all European distributors and suppliers of satellite and aerial images.

- Telematics applications:

Our company has developed applications of intelligent transport systems for monitoring and fleet management.

An example of our work : "Supply and installation of automatic identification system and fleet management in the Kozan municipality" .

- Metadata management applications:

Our company has developed applications of metadata in order to prepare the implementing rules  of the European Directive (INSPIRE).
